One evening, we found ourselves swiping away on Tinder. At first sight of each other's profile, we both immediately swiped right which meant that we wanted to chat with each other! Danny didn't start off too well as he spelled my name wrong in the first message he ever sent me ("Hi Taylor!"). Despite this critical error in his attention to detail, Danny still talked his way into a date with me at TCBY! Come to find out, TCBY went out of business, so we went to Yogurtini instead. After having the "ring talk" several different times, we decided to make a trip to Nebraska Diamond to see what we both liked. Danny secretly purchased one of the rings that I had picked out before we even left the store! Soon after, we took a trip to Mexico. My graduate school friends and I were all betting that Danny would pop the question while we were on this vacation. Although the proposal was intended to happen in Mexico, it didn't because Danny couldn't find the right moment (a.k.a. All my friends and I were wrong). A few weeks after our trip to Mexico, we went on a camping trip at Lake McConaughy with my family. Once again, Danny was having a hard time choosing the right moment, but he finally landed on the idea of proposing to me while playing an intense game of Pictionary with my family. Danny's turn rolled around and he drew what he claims was the WORST ring ever which resulted in him panicking on what to put on the board for several minutes. My niece and I got bored during this time, so we went on an adventure into the trees. Danny eventually ended up writing, "Will you marry me?" on the board. With my niece and I back from our adventure and Harper by his side, Danny turned the board around, got down on one knee, gave a short speech about his love for me and our growing family (we made it official that day that we were getting our new munchkin cat, Milo), and asked me to marry him.
