FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than July 31, 2023. Please see the "RSVP" Tab and search by the name written on your invitation.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal attire. Men may choose to wear suits and ties while women may opt from full-length dresses to cocktail length dresses or pantsuits. Please note that the venue does not permit blue jeans or sneakers. Women, please do not wear white! Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitations. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure you are RSVPing for your entire party.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We have limited the gathering of children, so we ask that you only bring children that are included on your invitations. Any children will also be listed by name under your party when you RSVP. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you plan to arrive by 4:30 PM to have time to get settled before the ceremony. Unfortunately, latecomers won't be able to enter the ceremony after it has started, so don't be fashionably late to this one!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We kindly request that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony in order to fully immerse yourself in the moment and be present with us as we exchange our vows. We have hired a professional photographer to capture all of the special moments of the day, and we want you to relax and enjoy the experience without worrying about getting the perfect shot.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Get ready to raise a glass because there will be an open bar serving beer, wine and our "special cocktail" all night long! Just remember to drink responsibly and designate a driver or take advantage of our hotel block at the Hampton Inn only 4 minutes away. Please see the travel page for more information.

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of free parking available at The Riverview for all our guests. However, if you plan on drinking and enjoying the festivities, we highly recommend taking advantage of our hotel block or taking an Uber. Feel free to leave your car in the wedding venue parking lot until 10 AM the next morning if necessary.

Question

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

We kindly request that you do not bring physical gifts to the wedding, other than cards. Instead, we have set up a registry on our wedding website where you can conveniently browse and purchase gifts that we have specifically chosen for our new life together.

Question

What's your wedding hashtag?

Answer

Our wedding hashtag is #ForEberhardt, and it's a fun play on words that combines the last name, Eberhardt, with "forever heart." We chose this hashtag because it represents our commitment to each other and the eternal love that we share. So be sure to use the hashtag when you post your photos and well wishes on social media, and let's make some unforgettable memories together!
