After a few days in NYC, we finally decided to tour the Empire State Building. It was around 20 degrees outside and midnight, obviously my hair wasn't done and I was wearing Daniel's pullover to stay warm. On the 86th floor the view was incredible! We took so many pictures of the city and of famous buildings we could make out. Daniel seemed to be getting a little uncomfortable, he never liked heights. Next we went up to the 102nd floor, the observatory. Daniel looked like he was going to fall over, but didn't want me to miss out on the view so he told me to go ahead and take some pictures, and he would just sit down for a second. When I turned around he was on one knee clutching the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. I almost fell over from excitement, how the tables turned! We took what is now one of our favorite pictures, blurry as heck, with bags under our eyes, and my nails and hair undone. Afterwards we walked to the nearest Boba Tea shop and got some drinks to celebrate!
