FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We will have a reminder/check-in date with our guests. The first is 04/19/2026, which is just a check-in and reminder of the date. The final due date of the RSVP is 06/19/2026. This does not mean you have to have your travel booked if you're saving up or what may it, but this is the date we need to know if you 100% intend on being there but may just be a bit until you can get the information to us. We apologize if this adds some stress but given that invitations are sent one year before the event, we provide ample time to plan for this and we more than likely cannot accommodate any late responses and will greatly miss your presence. Additionally, we will be beginning to set up the final head count for food and gifts for our guests and don't want to buy more than we need. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough… BUT We have made a Venmo account and an Amazon list IF you would like to contribute or get us a gift. However, we do not expect any whatsoever. We just appreciate our loved ones for making the time to come and celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Individuals who have provided they have a serious +1 are allowed to bring their significant other as was indicated on their invitation. If your invite does not include that information, then the answer is no.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Sahara's niece, Athea, is the only child who will be in attendance.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress code: Semi-Formal While semi-formal, dresses must be full length to ankles. We would prefer all photos of guests and couple to have consistent length, though we don't care if its strapless, turtle-neck, whatever. Please feel comfortable and look good :) Accent colors: Yellow-Gold and Black

Question

What is your colour palette?

Answer

Our color palette is in your invitations :)

Question

What is the weather going to be like?

Answer

September in Colorado is a great time to potentially experience all four seasons. The weather is typically around 60-70 degrees during the day and 40 at night, which out here is very comfortable and slightly on the "nearly hot" side. We will be at 7000' which is rather close to the sun, and you will be susceptible to sunburn. Please bring clothing for sunny to chilly just in case. Regular clothing with a long and short sleeve each as well as pants and shorts are advised. A light, but warm jacket will also do well. If you would like to do hiking or other outdoors activities, please bring appropriate footwear for that. Sunglasses and hats are also advised.

Question

401 on Altitude Sickness

Answer

Altitude sickness is a very real thing and can make you ill and sometimes...can kill you. Altitude sickness is caused by a decrease in the oxygen in the air at higher elevations. It takes time for the body to acclimate to these changes. Luckily, we opted out of having our wedding at the top of a 14ner so at half the altitude, everyone should be good. Symptoms: headache not easily relieved, nausea, vomiting, dizziness or lightheadedness, weakness, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, loss of appetite. In more severe cases, symptoms include walking with a staggering gait, confusion, exhaustion, hallucinations, and disruptions in normal cognitive functions. Prevention: Drink plenty of water, take OTC medications like Advil, limit intense physical exertion, eat well & sleep well.

Question

Are you having a Bach party or rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Nope!
