Travel Note
The Vineyard at High Holly is nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Scaly Mountain, North Carolina. While our remote mountain setting is part of what makes the venue so special, it also means transportation options are more limited than in a city or town. If you’re flying in, we strongly recommend renting a car or coordinating transportation with other guests. Uber and Lyft availability in the area can be limited, especially later at night, so we do not recommend relying on rideshare as your primary form of transportation. Traveling with friends or family? Consider coordinating rental cars or sharing a ride from the airport to make getting to and from the venue easy. If you have any questions or need anything at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. We can’t wait to welcome you to the mountains and celebrate with you!
Flight
Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) — Recommended Approximately 1.5–2 hours from the venue. Asheville is the closest major commercial airport and our recommended option for most guests. It offers convenient connections from several major U.S. cities and makes for a scenic drive through the mountains.
Flight
Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) Approximately 1.5–2 hours from the venue. GSP is another great option and can be especially convenient for guests flying from the Southeast. It is a smaller airport than Charlotte or Atlanta and may offer easy flight options depending on where you're traveling from.
Flight
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) Approximately 2–2.5 hours from the venue. Atlanta is a larger airport with a much wider selection of nonstop flights, making it a good option if you find a better flight or are traveling from farther away. The drive to the venue is longer, but still very manageable.
Flight
Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) Approximately 2.5–3 hours from the venue. Charlotte is another major airport with extensive nonstop service throughout the U.S. It can be a great option if flights are significantly more convenient or affordable than AVL or GSP.
