FAQs

The Wedding Website of Rae Zimmerman and Daniel Tyson
Question

How can I RSVP and what is the deadline?

Answer

You can RSVP through our website on the RSVP tab. In order to give our venue and caterer an accurate guest count, our deadline for RSVPs is April 10th.

Question

What happens if I don’t RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by April 10th it will be marked as a “No”. We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to the venue and caterer in the timely manner they have given us and cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. We hope that you understand.

Question

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Answer

We have a limited amount of space at the venue and so are unable to accommodate extra guests that we have not already taken into account. After dinner, additional guests are welcome to join for drinks and dancing.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail or semi-formal attire. The ceremony will be held outdoors, so dress accordingly.

Question

Is there a shuttle or any transportation provided?

Answer

While we don't have any transportation booked, we'd like to help with arranging carpools for guests coming from outside the city. Please let us know in your RSVP whether you'll be looking for a ride, or if you're willing to help out and offer someone a ride.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Paid parking is available throughout Stanley Park. Street parking is immediately outside the club, and there are three additional parking lots within a 10-minute walking distance, please note that pricing is subject to change. $4.25 per hour $15.50 maximum per day

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please aim to arrive at 2:30pm, as the ceremony will be starting at 3:00pm.

Question

What’s the backup plan if it rains?

Answer

Although we are hoping for clear skies, if it does rain the ceremony will be moved inside the Vancouver Rowing Club.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you please keep your phones tucked away during the ceremony, including for pictures. We have hired a photographer to take professional photos of the day which we will happily share with whoever would like them. After the ceremony and during the reception you are welcome to take as many photos as you'd like.
