It all started with with a few messages on OkCupid about volunteering in the Jewish community. I had just moved back to Portland, and Dan was actually thinking of leaving Portland. However, before he decided to move, he decided to message me. At first it was just a few messages back and forth, but once we knew we had mutual friends, we got a little push to go on a date. Our first date was amazing, and we ended up talking for hours until the restaurant closed, and kindly encouraged us to leave. We started walking to our cars, and it was then that I knew Dan was not like any other guy. He made me laugh, with his silly jokes (most I didn't actually get), and accepted my quirks. He showed me he was patient and curious, and we'd never have a dull adventure together. He also showed me he'd always respect me, as he ended our date with a handshake. :) After our first date, we went on a few more, before Dan decided he was moving to Chicago. Luckily, Nike was on my side and convinced Dan that he couldn't leave. Over the last three years, we've explored life and grown perfectly together. We are now excited to share the start of the next chapter of our life as Mr. and Mrs. Stoller with all our family and friends.
