Officiant
Jim and Kelly moved to Boise and joined staff at True Hope Church shortly after Rachael started attending. It was an instant friendship with the three (and their kiddos, too!), and The Sonnenberg's have remained some of my closest friends and encouragement(s) at our church. They have gotten to watch our relationship unfold, and are doing our premarital counseling and Jim is officiating our wedding ceremony. We couldn't be more thankful for a pair that we can relate to, laugh with, cry with, and pursue Jesus together with!
Father of the Bride
My Daddy is one of the most influential, supportive, and loving individuals in my life. From his listening ears, to his many prayers, he has always been there for me. Even when I doubted and wondered if God really had "someone for me", my Dad never gave up and always told me that he believed the Lord would give me the desires of my heart. I couldn't ask for a better role model and relationship with my Dad, and have already been crying at the thought of doing a "Father/Daughter" Dance. I. just. can't. Lol. Bring the kleenex!
Mother of the Bride
My Mom is one of my closest confidants and one of my biggest supporters in life! She has been there for me through all the good and the hard times, listening, listening, and yep probably more listening, lol. I am so thankful for a Mom who loves Jesus and who is always willing to pray for me and point me towards Him, and is seriously talented and an incredible servant. Thankful for all she has done for the Lord, our family, and now for our wedding. Can't wait for you to be such a special part of the day!
Father of the Groom
My dad has been the best example of what it means to be a loving husband, caring father, and rock solid man of God. He and my mom have been married 46 years, and through the ups and downs stayed loyal and true to each other and to Jesus Christ. He has taught me everything I know about work, life, and Godly leadership.
Mother of the Groom
My mom has always been there for me! She put up with me through the years of homeschooling, and taught me what it means to love and honor God and others. She has shown me what it means to be a Godly woman, and she is the sweetest, kindest, most caring person I have ever met!
Maid of Honor/Cousin
Amanda and I grew up visiting each other's families at least once or twice a year, and remained close cousins through out the years, especially the last decade, rarely going more than a few weeks with out communicating. We were both named after our Aunt Laurie (Jane) who was an incredible Aunt and role model to us while growing up, and passed on a special blessing of what it means to be an Aunt. Our "Jane Babe cousin bond" is strong, and I can't wait to have Amanda be a part of our wedding!
Matron of Honor/Friend
Jenn and I met in 2006 and have been close friends ever since. We have walked through all seasons of life together from break ups to being long distance for a few years, to Jenn meeting the love of her life, and having 3 kids, all the while still being able to maintain a close bond through our journeys. There are few friends in life who stick by your side through thick and thin, and Jenn has been one of those special friends to me. She has always encouraged me in the Lord, and that He had someone special for me. Her faith inspires me. I could not be more excited to have Jenn be such a special part of our wedding day!
Sister of the Bride
Nicole and I grew up as sisters playing alongside each other and doing "girl" things together. She was always willing to include me with her and her friends, and that meant so much to me as a kid. Even through going through the hard and fun seasons, it seems we are always learning and growing alongside each other what it means to follow Christ, and to love unconditionally. Ben and Nicole were the first to make me an Aunt, and I couldn't be more happy to have Nicole be such a special part of our wedding day.
Sister of the Bride
Kelsea and I grew up as sisters playing fun basketball games together like "PIG" (which she pretty much always beat me at), and we loved to hang out with our backyard neighbors, hiding Easter Eggs and things. Over the years, Kelsea and I have grown very close not just as sisters, but as friends. I am so thankful for our deep conversations mixed together with lots of laughter and fun with her boys. I couldn't be more excited to have Kelsea stand by my side on my wedding day!
Sister-in-Law of the Bride
Shannah married my brother Josh and joined the somewhat chaotic "Beaudin household". Bless her heart, ha! I was able to be a part of Josh and Shannah's story when they first met (before Shannah knew Josh liked her), and then we all got to spend more time together through going to sister Bible School's. I was also able to be a part of their engagement (took some photos as Josh proposed), which is a fun memory especially being newly engaged. I couldn't have picked a better life partner for my brother than Shannah. They have always inspired me to marry my best friend, to laugh together, and to not take life too seriously except when it really matters (like following Jesus seriously). I am so thankful for Shannah and couldn't be more excited to have her stand alongside me in our wedding!
Friend of the Bride
Lauren and I originally met as students at New Tribes Bible Institute back in 2010, but we really got to know each other well when her and her husband Luke moved to Boise a few years ago. Lauren and I had an instant connection in our spiritual journeys, as well as just clicked easy. I have always enjoyed our talks, prayers, laughs, and just chilling together. Lauren has walked alongside me in my (often hard) journey of singleness, and has always believed I'd meet someone special. Her faith helped me keep believing it could happen someday if God willed it. I couldn't be more excited to have Lauren be by my side on our wedding day!
Friend of the Bride
When Kelly and I met, it was an instant bond. From our love of Jesus to our love of music to our love for loving others, it's not hard to spend hours with Kelly and feel like the time has just flown by. Leading worship together and being a part of the True Hope Church community has been uplifting and life giving to say the least. Kelly has also had the opportunity to watch Daniel and my love story unfold, and she has always been in support of us. I'm so thankful for a loyal and faithful friend in Kelly, and could not be more excited to have her share in our wedding day by our side!
Niece of the Bride/Flower Girl
Everly is my oldest (and first) niece, and is the daughter of my brother and sister in law, Josh and Shannah Beaudin. I'm not sure who's more excited (her or me) to have her be our flower girl in our wedding! She literally did a cute little dance while she so excitedly stated, "I want to do it right now!" When we were talking the other day about her "role" as a flower girl, she told me that she was going to "throw the flower petals everywhere" so be warned (and be ready to catch some flower petals), lol.
Nephew of the Bride/Ring Bearer
Gabe is my second oldest nephew, and is the son of my younger sister Kelsea, and brother in law, Brian Rausch. Gabe loves to hang with me at my house when he gets the chance, playing games (seen in picture), and going on bike rides or showing me his costumes and games at his house. I'm also not sure who is more excited for Gabe to be our Ring Bearer (Gabe or I), as Gabe also did his own little dance when I asked him to be the Ring Bearer like his cousin Everly did. When I told Gabe that him and Everly were going to be walking down the aisle together, he said, "Everly is the cutest thing ever!"
Best Man
Daniel and Rachael met through worship team at True Hope Church, alongside Garrett. Garrett was one of the first people Dan met at True Hope Church, and has become a great friend to both Dan and Rachael. In fact, a few weeks before Rachael and Dan met, Rachael asked Garrett if he knew of any single, godly bachelors and Garrett said he'd "keep his eyes out". Little did we both know, Daniel was about to start attending True Hope. We are so thankful for the ministry opportunities we have both had to serve alongside Garrett, and are delighted to have him be such a special part of our wedding day!
Brother of the Bride
Josh and I grew up sort of drumming to our own beats, not usually spending much "quality time" together, but as we got into high school, I started to realize what a "gem" I had in my brother. We continually grew closer over the years, and for some time, I have considered Josh to be one of my best friends. He has a way of knowing how to make me laugh when I am taking life too seriously, and listening and encouraging me like a true brother and friend. I am fortunate to have a brother like Josh, and so thankful for his continual example of faith and unconditional love to me ever since I can remember. I couldn't be more excited to have Josh be a part of our wedding day celebration.
Brother-in-Law of the Bride
Ben married Rachael's older sister, Nicole, and was the first to join the Beaudin clan. Him and Nicole met in a singing group called "Destiny" at Multnomah Bible College. Rachael has been able to witness their love unfold from so many years ago, and remain strong through thick and thin. Their marriage is an example of Christ's love for us, and how he lays down his life for His Church. Ben has become another brother to Rachael over the years, and friend. Thankful and blessed to have Ben be a part of our wedding day!
Brother-in-Law of the Bride
Brian married Rachael's younger sister, Kelsea, and has become another brother to Rachael over the years. Brian's sense of humor, quick wit, and "brains" all add a special element to the "Beaudin Family Dynamic". Watching Brian cherish Kelsea the way he does has always been an encouragement to Rachael as she's waited to meet the man for her. It has been a sheer joy to witness Brian's growth in his love for the Lord over the years, as well as to be introduced to new board games that he acquires. We are thankful and excited to have Brian be a part of our special day!
Family Friend of the Bride/Groomsman
Eric, a long time friend of the Beaudin family, went to New Tribes Bible Institute with Rachael's brother Josh. He then worked on staff at NTBI while Rachael was attending school there, and became like another brother to Rachael over the years. Eric's love for Christ and people, his loyalty, and his generous, gentle spirit are a few of the godly qualities that have been an encouragement to both Rachael and her family all these years. We couldn't be more excited to have Eric be a part of the special day!
Groomsman
Matt has been a great friend for many years. We met at church in Lake Tahoe, and share many common interests such as music, outdoors, art, and our snarky sense of humor! He is a loving father and great example for our upcoming marriage!
Nephew of the Bride/Jr. Groomsmen
Kyler Joseph Anderson first made Rachael a proud Auntie! Over the years Kyler and Rachael have enjoyed spending quality time together riding bikes, going to the park, and playing various games together like mancala, battleship, and now the most recent favorite: darts. Kyler has already hit it off with Dan, and Rachael couldn't be more excited to share with Dan, the adventure of being an Aunt/Uncle to the amazing young man that Kyler is. We are so excited to have Kyler be a part of our wedding!
