Dani and I first met when he was on tour with Hail The Sun in Detroit. I had just got off work and I am never late to a concert because I love watching the openers, which in this case was Dani's band Body Thief, but I sadly arrived late around 9pm missing his set. As I was walking into the venue, Dani was walking out. We both did a double take and watched each other until we turned the corner. He and I relive that moment in slow motion all the time! At this point, I thought he had left, not knowing he was in a band. After the show I started to walk out and then I saw him again at the merchandise table. I walked up to him first and said, "Hello, I saw you outside and thought you were cute! I thought you left!". Dani said, " Well Hello. I have to tell you, I’ve never done a double take like that before!". He then asked me if I saw his set. I paused and asked him if he was the lead singer jokingly, and he answered yes. How funny! The night went on and we talked for a few hours in my car, falling in love with each others minds and hearts. We discovered that we share the same beliefs, morals, and very similar childhood history. Fast forward to December, Dani had gotten home from tour and the first week he arrived home he was asked to work in Detroit. (He hadn’t been sent to Detroit for work in years). We spent a whole week together falling in love even more. Ever since, we’ve spent our time learning and growing together. We will always appreciate and remember our very special story of how we found endless love.

We spent a week in Dani’s hometown in Maryland! We had multiple family dinners and I was able to meet most of his amazing family! One beautiful Saturday morning we went to a couple’s brunch at his church with Patrick and Amy (his brother and sister in law). After, we took a trip to Great Falls Park and explored the beautiful waterfalls and cliffs! We found a beautiful lookout that Dani used to visit when he was young. And in that moment, he took my hands and said, “I need to ask you something I will never have to ask you again.” And he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I held his face and said, “Of course I will!” Both of our eyes lit up and we both jumped up to embraced each other. That was the day Daniel and I promised to love each other endlessly!
