Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Michal Tolk and Daniel Thorson
Asheville is a mountain town with incredible food, live music, craft breweries, and a thriving arts scene. It's also a haven for healing — world-class bodyworkers, yoga studios, and practitioners of all kinds call this place home. OUTDOORS: Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway for stunning mountain views and trailhead access. Our favorite hikes: Graveyard Fields (waterfalls + wild blueberries), Skinny Dip Falls (swimming hole!), Black Balsam Knob (360° views), and Craggy Gardens. For water fun, try tubing the French Broad River with Zen Tubing. HEALING: Asheville is a special place for anyone interested in bodywork, yoga, and holistic healing, with some of the best practitioners and teachers around. FOOD & DRINK: Asheville's restaurant and brewery scene is one of the best on the East Coast. Just walk around downtown and you'll find something amazing.
