We met through our Best Friends. Ever since that moment we would chat with each other anyway we could. At the time it was through the final days of MySpace, until I convinced her to jump ship from the dying social media website, and join Facebook as all the cool kids were doing it. We continued to chat/flirt our way into each others hearts which led to our first date to see Toy Story 3 in theaters.

It was December 2021, and the holidays were around the corner. We wanted to have a romantic staycation at Lake Las Vegas as we had never been before and it was always on our list, and booked it for December 22nd-25th. This allowed us to check out on Christmas and still enjoy the holiday with family. I had envisioned a surprise proposal as we walked alongside the lake with the excuse of wanting to fly my drone (thanks Uncle Bill) to capture us in the moment. Of course, nothing went to plan as the weather was nothing but rain and wind. Multiple days had passed without exceptional weather so I decided Christmas Eve was my last and only day I could, but the weather was still windy and no drone. We took a walk along the property lake side, and near the Gazebo, I got on one knee and asked the age old question. She said, "You are finally doing this?", then said yes, and here we are, making a website so we can share the next step in our chapter with friends and family. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at The Grove in Las Vegas!
