Flight
Flight to Florence or Rome
Los Angeles (LAX) offers various flights to Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport (usually with one short layover). There are also many flights options from LAX to Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport, if preferred. A train can then be taken from Rome to Florence which takes around 1.5 hours. We recommend using the Trenitalia app to book speed trains within Italy.
Travel Note
Florence - Centro Storico / Historic District
The wedding will be held about 25 minutes away from the Historic District of Florence (aka Downtown Florence). You may want to see Florence several days before or after the wedding for travel purposes. There are many great hotels to choose from in the city of Florence. When Marcela and I got engaged in Italy, we stayed at B&B Hotel Laurus al Duomo, which we highly recommend!
