We met in September of 2018 the old fashioned way - at a local bar. I (Maeghan) had never been there before and was having a girls night out. Daniel spoke up to stop a group of men from bothering me and I acted like he was an old friend and walked right up to him. We spoke the rest of the night and exchanged numbers. I couldn’t stop laughing and smiling, I felt like we truly were old friends. Our first date was a week later. Daniel had his friend act as our chauffeur with us riding in the back of his town car. Daniel was so nervous, it was adorable. We were inseparable after talking all night. After seven (SEVEN!) years of memories filled with laughter and travels and growing our lives together, there was no denying it was finally time. Daniel booked a weekend getaway at a Napa resort to propose. We went to a dinner in our finest and returned to our suite to have wine by our backyard fire pit. Next to the fire and full of nerves (which was adorable), he asked me to marry him. As if there was ever any other answer but YES! We are so excited to start the next chapter of our lives - continuing to support each other’s dreams and cultivating what we envision for our family.
