FAQs

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We invite you to join us in celebrating with elegance and style. Guests are welcome to wear American formal or Indian formal. It is requested that guests wear long dresses and suits or traditional Indian clothing. Please consider that this is a church wedding. Please dress accordingly, avoiding any overly revealing clothing. We ask that guests please avoid wearing white or red, as both colors are traditionally reserved for the bride.

Question

Can I Wear Indian Clothing if I am not Indian?

Answer

Guests of all backgrounds are invited to wear formal Indian attire. If you’re looking for inspiration, we’ve put together a few mood boards (under our details tab) to help spark ideas.

Question

Are Children Welcome

Answer

Due to limited space, we’re only able to include a very small number of children, primarily those of out-of-town guests and close family. If your child is invited, their name will be included on your invitation, and you’ll see an option to RSVP on their behalf. Thank you so much for your understanding, we truly appreciate it!

Question

Can I Bring a Plus One

Answer

Plus-ones are thoughtfully extended on a limited, case-by-case basis and will be noted on your invitation with their name or “and guest” if included. We truly appreciate your understanding and are so grateful to celebrate this special day with you!

Question

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

Doors will open for seating at 4:30 P.M. The processional will begin promptly at 5:00 P.M. We ask that all guests find their seats before the processional begins.

Question

Where Should I Park?

Answer

Parking can be found at the First Street Ramp next door to the church. Parking in this ramp will be validated. There is plenty of space in the ramp for all. If you would like to park elsewhere, there is limited street parking available.

Question

Will There be Alcohol Served?

Answer

To respect the requirements of our church and venue there will be no alcohol served or allowed into the celebration. Don't worry though, we will have plenty of fun non-alcoholic options available.
