Question

What COVID protocols will be in place for the event?

Answer

NEW: Effective mid-August, all patrons of NYC restaurants must show proof of at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. This applies to all our guests over the age of 12 attending our ceremony, reception, or both. YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO SHOW PROOF OF VACCINATION AND A MATCHING ID AT THE VENUE'S ENTRANCE. A list of acceptable vaccination proof is available here: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/covid/covid-19-vaccines-keytonyc.page Our event will consist of an outdoor ceremony followed by an indoor reception with dinner and dancing. Our venue has an air filtration system consistent with pandemic guidelines, and all vendors and venue staff will be vaccinated. We will adhere to all current health and safety protocols in effect on the date of our event and will update this FAQ if there are any changes to local laws or requirements.

Question

What's the weather like in October in Brooklyn?

Answer

Last year at this approximate date, we had a high of 63°F and a low of 46°F. Historically, it's been common to see daytime temperatures in the 70s with cooler evenings. Our ceremony will be held in an outdoor area of the venue with a retractable roof in case of rain and installable windows in case of torrential downpour or serious chill. That said, please cross your fingers for sunshine.
