We met at a local grocery store that we both worked at. One day Liz moved over to the personal shopper team which involved trips to the produce department...that Daniel happened to work at! He took notice immediately, and while it took some convincing on Liz's end, she eventually agreed to go out on a date to Uncle Ray's for ice cream and putt-putt. It didn't take long for Daniel to realize that Liz may be a golfer, as she beat him by about 6 strokes.

Daniel decided to pop the question right before Christmas when they both had time off work, his idea was that they could go out to a local park for a "walk" that has a very picturesque stone bridge as it's landmark. He wanted Abby, Liz's sister and maid of honor, to be there to record the moment as well. Liz figured it was going to be a nice relaxing afternoon stroll, so she was wondering why Daniel was so stressed out...? When they eventually got there they walked to the bridge and Liz saw that there was someone on the other side trying to take pictures. She called out to the person only to get no response, which now was stressing HER out! Daniel was trying to get her attention back to him but Liz wasn't going to take her eyes off of the new potential stalker that was trying to remain unseen. Eventually, she did catch a glance of who the "stalker" was, and when she did everything clicked into place. Tears started to flow and Daniel got on his knee to ask if she'd like to spend the rest of her life with him.
