The ceremony will start promptly at 1:00 pm (it is the military after all). We recommend planning to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony to allow time to find parking and to get settled. Additionally, please allow time for getting through West Point security. P.S. The speed limit on West Point is slow and enforced! We'd hate for anybody to get a ticket, so please plan accordingly.
To help with limited parking and for those unfamiliar with West Point, we have arranged shuttle service for the ceremony from The Thayer Hotel departing at 12:00, 12:10, 12:20, 12:30, and 12:40 PM. Shuttle service is the preferred option, as parking near the Chapel is very limited. While we have done our best to accommodate the majority of our guests, shuttle capacity is limited to 25 guests per trip. We recommend planning ahead and taking an earlier shuttle if possible. If you miss the shuttle or it reaches capacity, you will need to arrange your own transportation to the Chapel. Carpooling from The Thayer parking lot is also encouraged for those driving. For guests staying at the Holiday Inn - A 12-passenger shuttle will pick up guests for the reception from the Holiday Inn at 4:15 PM and 4:45 PM and transport you to the reception at The Thayer Hotel. At the end of the evening, return shuttles will run at 10:15 PM, 11:30 PM, and 12:30 AM.
For the ceremony, there is limited parking at the church. We ask that these spots be reserved for those with accessibility issues. There is parking along the road opposite the private residences, on top of Merritt Hill, and at Arvin Gymnasium (down the hill and across Stony Lonesome Road). Do not block any private residences or garages. Please visit the travel tab for directions to these specific locations. “CPA pass” restrictions are not in place during the weekends, so you may park in these spots, all other parking restrictions should be followed. We recommend parking by The Thayer Hotel and taking the shuttles or carpooling with friends and family if possible! For the reception, there is parking. Our wedding celebration calls for cocktail attire. Gentlemen, we kindly request suits, while ladies are invited to wear midi-length or long dresses. Elegant cocktail-length dresses are also welcome.
Since we want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we’re only inviting our closest loved ones. Please refer to your formal invitation for the amount of seats reserved for you!
We will be collecting information at the time of RSVP to provide everyone with a visitors pass to access West Point. West Point requires Real ID’s to access (think TSA security requirements), see below if you are unfamiliar with current Real ID requirements. From West Point visitor center: “All attendees will need a U.S. ID in the form of a Real ID and/or Enhanced DL. If visitors do not have Real ID/Enhanced driver's license, retired military ID, or DoD Common Access Card, they must bring another form of U.S. ID, such as a passport, Social Security card, or birth certificate.” While we will be providing everyone with their visitor passes, everyone will be responsible for picking up their visitor passes before accessing West Point for the ceremony. We will share details on how we will be distributing the passes as we get closer, but please plan on arriving early because of this. If you have any questions during the RSVP process please contact Lisa (845)304-2954 or Danny (845)521-0566.
The ceremony will be held indoors at the Catholic chapel at West Point. The cocktail hour will be held both indoors and outdoors to enjoy views of the Hudson River.
We ask that you do not use phones during the church ceremony. We will have a photographer to capture everything and will share photos as soon as they are available!
We ask that you RSVP no later than April 18th, 2026. Thank you in advance!
