Best Man
The only guy on this list that’s not related to me. He’s my best friend and has stuck around for over a decade. I admire his commitment to his wife and family and his strong work ethic. CJ and I met when we were just kids and we attended 4H outdoor school together. I love that I can still be goofy around him but also trust him with everything. I am lucky to have him be my best man on this big day.

I met Jenna on my first day of college three years ago. Ever since she’s been one of my best friends and biggest supporter. She’s so sassy and caring. She loves everyone with all she’s got and is willing to be there when you need her. I’m so thankful we were partners in psychology and that I will have her beside me on this big day!

Mark is my older brother and someone I have looked up to throughout life. His pursuit of faith and steadfast love for his wife and kids is admirable. I am thankful that I can go to him whenever I need advice and can trust his words of wisdom. My favorite memories are getting to play football with him back in the day. Mark has been a great role model for me and I am thankful to have him by my side on this day.

I met Jamie 2-3 years ago at our college group through Salem Alliance Church. She is such a bright light in my life who always speaks truth over me. She reminds me to take care of myself and trust Jesus with every single step in life. She’s there to help me even when I don’t recognize I need it and one of my favorite people ever. I’m beyond blessed to have her by my side for this day!

Mike is one of my younger brothers and has been an inspiration to me for years in fitness and his compassion for others. He cares so much for people and has made a career for himself out of it. I admire his goofy personality and enjoy playing football with him or even Destiny 1 back in the day. Michael is always down for coffee dates and just being there for me when I need it. I am so happy to have him with me today.

I first met Kai in high school through choir. She has a beautiful voice and the way she carries herself brightens up any room. Kai has always been someone I could go to when I’ve questioned my faith or needed someone to just be real with me. She’s got the humor to make light in a tough situation and I’m so thankful she’s been by my side through many memories and especially today.

Matt is one of my brother-in-laws and has been a huge support to me for years. He has always been there with advice for my journey with faith and even for relationship advice while I was dating Lily. He’s been around to sit and talk with or have the jokes when I need a pick-me-up. I love this guy and I am lucky to have him with me on this big day!

Delaney is definitely one of my longest friendships. We met in middle school right after I moved to Oregon and she was one of my very first friends here. We had some distance after middle school but came back together stronger than ever. Del supports me through the good, bad, and my addiction to Gilmore Girls. She’s the Lorelei to my Rory and I am so thankful to have her by my side in life and on this exciting day!

Boaz is the oldest out of my nephews and his work ethic is awesome. He cares a ton for people and it shows through his job with Dutch Bros. I have loved watching him grow and playing football with him in our Sunday league. He continues to show his compassion for others and I am grateful to have him by my side on my big day.

Katrina and I were hired really close together at Starbucks. We bonded over our government classes we were taking and have been close ever since. She has been such a huge support system for me when I needed a shoulder to cry on or needed to laugh until I cry harder. Katrina always knows what to say and she’s such a bright light in my life and others. I’m so stoked to have her by my side today.

Caed is another one of my nephews and a hardcore crossfit lover. He is hardworking and diligent when it comes to meeting his goals whether it be in the gym or in his job. Caed also works for Dutch Bros and cares about people a ton. My favorite memory is getting to watch him and Gabe play for Dallas HS and beat the top team in the state their senior year. I am lucky to have him by my side.

I met Emily at Oregon Girls State two years ago. We have the type of friendship where we stay up until 2am watching vines and laughing until we cry while eating uncrustables. It hasn’t been a long friendship but it’s a forever friendship. Emily is there to cry with, laugh with, or vent with. She’s such a caring and loving person who’s ready to step in when I need her. I’m so thankful to have her here with me on this special day.

Watching him beat the top rated team in the state in football during his senior year was unforgettable and I admire his work ethic.
