Wedding Posse

Here are the people who are helping us bring it all together!

Mitzi Young

Officiant / Bride's Posse

A long time friend of the bride, Mitzi and Krystine met at a music festival, and bonded over a shared love of food, music, travel, and yoga. They frequently meet up for hikes and other adventures, and once went on an amazing girls trip to Aruba where they had the best week of their lives.

Linda Opp

Coordinator / Bride's Posse

Linda and Krystine first met at a tattoo convention in Ohio. They met up once again at a convention in Tahoe, and then Linda graciously offered to host Krystine when she was visiting Austin. When they were chatting on the patio, they realized they were wearing the same shoes and shared a "did we just become best friends" moment. The rest is history. Linda is a ride or die, always up for a good time, ray of sunshine friend.

Dayna Boissoneault

Bride's Posse

Dayna and Krystine met through their significant others (at the time) over 8 years ago. Krystine even attended Dayna's wedding before they started to be friends. Dayna started doing Krystine's nails, and the gossip sessions turned into a friendship. Dayna helped Krystine pick out her dress, has heard every up and down about her love life, and even helped Dan select the ring. Krystine is even "auntie" to Dayna's dog Bernie.

Amy Fuson

Bride's Posse

Amy and Krystine met for the first time after deciding to ride from RI to Vermont on their motorcycles to attend a women's campout. It rained the whole weekend and Krystine blew out her back tire on the highway, but it was the start of a beautiful friendship. Amy is always up for an adventure and helps take care of the farm when Dan and Krystine go away. In return, Krystine is auntie to Amy's dog, Alice, and takes care of her while Amy is off adventuring. They ride motorcycles together and hang out frequently.

Rachel O'Neill

Bride's Posse

Rachel and Krystine met through motorcycles. They've shared hours and hours of deep conversations, trips to campouts and Mexican food alike, great laughs, and lots of ride time. Rachel is a free spirit with a beautiful sense of wanderlust. She makes a mean margarita and has a sharp wit that matches her sweet nature.

Kayleigh Turbitt

Bride's Posse

Kayleigh and Krystine met on a motorcycle ride, and became friends over tacos and margaritas. Kayleigh's off the wall humor, fashion sense, and tenacity is something to be admired. Always up for a good time, always there for you when you need her, and always sending bizarre memes and videos that make you scratch your head.

Phrank Johnston

Groom's Posse

Big brother bully, to big brother buddy. Phrank and Dan met in October of 1980 when the groom was shiny and new. From then on they wore matching clothes, had matching toys, and even portrayed the dynamic due "Ozone and Turbo" in their living room practicing breakin' moves on the old "Tiger Rug". He taught Dan the love of punk rock and board games which they still bond over to this very day.

William Johnston

Groom's Posse

William is as stoic as they come. A loving father, a leader, a creator and a visionary. Even though he is the youngest of Daniel's immediate family, he is still a force to be reckoned with and someone to look up to. Level headed and no-nonsense he brings a strong foundation to this posse. Some may think he was chosen for this group by "family default" but then you would have to say that to his face. Good luck!

Brian LeMay

Groom's Posse

A "Johnston" by proxy, he fits the mold of the circus that holds the namesake. He and Dan met on the Jewett City baskeball courts as strangers, when Brian came up to him out of the blue and said, "Hey man, can I sleep over?" The answer was "Yes" and the rest is history (the nineties were a weird time haha). Magic cards, grunge rock bands, camping, hanging at the mall, convincing everyone he drove a "Vette" (it was a Chevy Chevette), and mosh pits was the foundation of this impossible-to-categorize friendship. Old school blood brothers and best buds to the bitter end. It's always the "Brian & Dan Show" whenever they're together.

Jason Schaen

Groom's Posse

He’s been one of Dan's closest friends on this entire Earth for more years than they care to mention. He’s a talented musician, super father, no-nonsense hard worker, ALL-nonsense jokester, advice giver, ear to bend, shoulder to cry on, and just genuinely one in a Bazillion. He gave Dan the much needed spark and pep talk many many years ago to keep his love of music strong and to pursue his dream of gracing every stage possible. Dan can safely say he wouldn't have had such an awesome adventure in life without him. Call them what you want: the dynamic duo, the tour lords, the merch kings, the banter boys, but don't forget to call them family.

Ron Lynch III

Groom's Posse

If you ask them where they met, they'll probably say "Bus 6". And it's usually met with "How in the heck do you remember what bus you rode when you were kids?" That may be the first real memory of their friendship, but over the years they have created some of the best of new memories together. Dan knows he can always reach out any time of day or night to have a heartfelt conversation or to just share a terrible corny joke. That's what great friends are for right? They have spent more late nights in the studio and on stage together than most people can imagine and their love for live shows and anything rock or rap music related keeps their bond unbreakable.
