Bridal Party

meet the dream team.

Alisha

Maid of Honor

If you ever need someone to crack a joke with, Alisha is that friend. Alisha and I go way back to the early days of high school. My very first memory of her was in Year 7 VA, where she sat right in front of me. Funny enough, we didn’t exchange a word. It wasn’t until Year 9 Food Tech that we were seated next to each other, at the front of the room. We were never paired up for prac, but that’s where our friendship quietly began. One thing I’ll never forget about her is that she would always eat a banana. Just like the saying “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” - that was her, but with the banana. Since then, our catchups have stretched well past bedtime. She was that friend who helped me experience the world; from those early clubbing nights to our very first rave together (DQ1, 2016). Now you can say it's a bit more wholesome. Well... for her at least. From living two streets away to now 29 hours away, she has always been there through every stage of life - the highs, the lows, and everything in between. There’s nothing she hasn’t seen.

Vincent

Best Man

I've known Vincent since Year 3 - back when our biggest worries were homework and running out the classroom to bags a handball court for lunch. He even lives just one road away from me, proof that some friendships really are built to last. We've been through it all - from terrifying tutoring sessions in high school, to sweating it out together at F45, pushing each other to be better. But some of my favourite memories go way back to primary school, where we’d spend hours talking about video games like Maplestory and also our favourite NRL team, the Parramatta Eels like it was life or death. We’ve kicked the ball around the park more times than I can count, but what’s always stood out is his loyalty, his smarts, and the way he carries himself - with humility, humour, and heart. It means the world to have someone like that standing beside me, not just as my best man, but as a lifelong friend who’s been there from the very start. .

Anna

Bridesmaid

When you first meet Anna, she’ll instantly make you feel welcomed, supported, and completely at ease - just like an older sister. We met in Year 8 Maths. Actually, lets recap a bit. The very first time I ever saw her was when she walked into the hall, right in the middle of one of our exams. I remember being shocked, confused, and wondering why a new student would make such an entrance. Fast forward to Year 8 Maths, when we properly met. We sat next to each other, right infront of the teacher's table. Anna was the type to pack two chicken sandwiches, just in case someone else was still hungry. She always carried a little pouch with all the essentials and never left home without her umbrella. If you go out to eat with her, she will over order, until she realises that it was a bit too much. Has she learnt her lesson? No. From seeing her 5 days a week (on top of afternoon tutoring lessons) to yearly catchups, school drama to life rants, walk homes to driving - she was there through it all. And I know, she will always show up for me. To everyone else, she is Anna - but to me, she's my big sister.

Cameron

Groomsman

Meet the other bloke that lives a road away from me - Cameron. Cameron is the kind of guy who could walk into a room full of strangers and walk out with a dozen new mates. Whether it is a quick chat or a full-blown night out, Cam brings the kind of energy that turns good times into great ones. We’ve racked up some unforgettable memories together, from wild nights at raves to soaking up the chaos and charm of Thailand. And when we’re not tearing up the dance floor or exploring new places, you’ll find us on the Oztag field, where either he'll drop the ball from a simple play or he'll burst through with that patented left foot step. We've had that many oat cappuccinos together, more than I have had with Kim. He’s the life of the party, the glue in every group chat and honestly with you around, there's never a dull moment. It wouldn't be the same without him. .

Kim & Daniel

Bride & Groom

From talking to sunrise during the covid lockdowns to now planning our big day, what a journey its been. Like they say, opposites attract and we are living proof. She's all about burgers and steak, while he is team rice and noodles. Our playlists don't match and our hobbies rarely overlap and yet somehow, it just works, or in other words, if Dan compromises. What makes us click isn’t shared interests, it’s shared values. We’re both open to stepping outside our comfort zones, trying new things, and learning from each other. Whether it’s her giving malatang a go or me pretending I know how to order a medium-rare steak, we meet in the middle - not because we have to, but because we want to grow together. I guess you can say that one thing is common between us - our personalities (also our height). We are both goofy, witty, spontaneous and both like a cheeky afternoon nap. We can laugh to our own jokes more than we laugh with each other. We may not always want the same thing on the menu, but when it comes to life, we’re always choosing each other.
