There are tons of beautiful wineries in Hopland (south of Ukiah) and heading towards the coast in Philo. Some of the best Pinot Noirs are from Anderson Valley! Some of our favorites are Goldeneye, Roederer, Husch, Pennyroyal, and Navarro.
It has great hiking, a skate park, tennis courts, frisbee golf, and a dog park. It’s easily accessible and the trails are beautiful that time of year with the rolling Oaks and water running through the park.
Absolutely not to be missed. One of the most impressive redwood groves in California, with a small hike in, pack a picnic and explore. Hike through majestic old-growth redwoods, including some of the tallest trees in the world. It’s a short drive from Ukiah and well worth it.
100 year old soaking tubs / pool and 700 acres of hiking, and great waterfall at the end of the trail. Soak in the naturally warm, mineral-rich springs or enjoy the walking trails. It’s a relaxing treat for the whole family. You can buy a two hour pass.
Explore the lake, paddleboard, mountain biking around the lake or walk the dam. Perfect for a family picnic, hiking, fishing, or kayaking. There are plenty of trails and scenic views around the lake.
