Things To Do

There's something for everyone in the Reno and Lake Tahoe area. There are so many great places to hike, walk, eat, or gamble. Reno is surprisingly known for the all you can eat Sushi restaurants - seriously, it was even in the NY Times: https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/06/dining/sushi-all-you-can-eat-reno-nevada.html, so we included a couple of our favorite Sushi places below. If you want to head to the Lake, there are lots of places to rent paddle boards or boats if you are feeling a little more adventurous. Our "go-to" spot on the lake is Hurricane Bay and we included the address below. The "beach" is rocky so water shoes are recommended. We also highly recommend taking some time to drive around the lake and stop at Emerald Bay State Park, the views are worth it. Lastly, there are two events happening in Reno at the same time: 1) Dragon Lights Fesitval and 2) Street Vibrations (motorcycle rally). Information can be found below.
