Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive no earlier than 3:30pm; the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Reception will follow.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Formal jumpsuits, cocktail dresses, and formal separates are all appropriate. Suits and ties are encouraged, but collared dress shirts and slacks are also welcome. Please reserve white for the bride.

What shoes are appropriate?

Answer

Large portions of the venue are outdoors. Please wear shoes that are comfortable on gravel, grass and cement.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing will be held outdoors. Dinner will be indoors and available with air conditioning to escape from the heat as needed.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is ample parking at the venue. Follow the gravel road up the hill and the parking will be signed. If you are not comfortable on stairs, there is handicap accessible further up the hill and to the left.

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are a number of accommodation options in the area, here's a list of some recommended options. We suggest booking early, as the Hood River area is popular tourist destination in the summer. Please see the travel page for recommended locations.

How should I get there?

Answer

We recommend finding your own transportation in advance, there are multiple taxi services in the area. Uber and other ride sharing services may not be available in our rural location and cell service may be spotty at the venue. Please not that if you are crossing into Washington via the Hood River Bridge there is a $3.50 toll each way.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Please include this information in your RSVP. We will be having an Italian style buffet that can accommodate to a wide variety of dietary needs.

Do you have a wedding registry and can I bring my gift to your wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift, there will be a table for your convenience. Our registry can be located here under the Registry tab, if you wish to choose from some provided options.
