Chautauqua Park
Several trails located in this park ranging from easy to difficult. One of the most popular hikes in Boulder is a 2.5mi loop between the First and Second Flatirons, considered moderate. Other standout options are Royal Arch and Green Mountain Summit.
Flagstaff Mountain - Scenic Drive
Scenic drive option just south of town. Baseline Road turns into Flagstaff Road (Artist Point in your GPS may help). The winding road offers many trailheads and view points along the way. Artist Point is one particular vantage spot and may require a mini hike. Continue on to Gross Reservoir if you are in the mood for a picnic down by the water. The road is one way in and one way out so when you hit your halfway point, it is time to turn around.

Boulder Falls
Short walk to a beautiful waterfall. 15 minute drive from downtown Boulder.
Nederland Excursion
Leaving Boulder, head west on 119 through the Canyon towards Nederland. Boulder Falls is a popular and quick pit stop along the way. Once there, enjoy the lake, views or stop in for some local fare. Approximately 30 minutes from Boulder. If inspired, continued north on 72 until going east at the 7 junction toward Lyons (about an hour). Enjoy the town on Lyons (where we are getting married) and/or head south on 36 back into Boulder.
