We're (finally) getting married!

In the year of our Lord, two thousand and twelve, A sad fate had befallen our hero, Daniel, For he could not master the art of the spread, And thus, away from Pickle University, he was led. His failure to make sandwiches with one clean sweep Caused his expulsion, his dreams to weep But Mr. Pickles still had a job for him... Though not in the kitchen. His future looked grim. With a heavy heart, he danced on the street, In a stifling pickle suit, he did greet, The passersby with a mocking smile, Oh, how they laughed at his pitiful trial. Meanwhile, Kaeli had finished her degree, Anthropology, the study of humanity, But instead of bones and cultures far and wide, She found herself in a small office, confined. But lo! A beacon of hope did shine, Whole Foods, a savior in disguise, A job fair, interviews, seminars so strange, But a job, a new start, it was time for a change. And so, Kaeli found herself among the cheese, While Daniel, no longer a pickle, but a man at ease, Stocking shelves, no longer in the heat, Whole Foods, their sanctuary, their place to meet. But Kaeli, oh Kaeli, her heart did yearn, For Daniel, her love, for whom she did burn, She checked his schedule, showed up with care, All dressed up, for a paycheck, just to be near. Daniel, oblivious, in his pickle-induced daze, Never questioned why she came on off days, Until at last, he saw the light, And knew it was time to end their plight. He tried to kiss her, she dodged with grace, But he tried again, and at last, they did embrace, Whole Foods may have been a trial and test, But from its depths, a love story, the best. And so, their tale shall live on in time, Of love that blossomed, in a place so sublime, Though Whole Foods was a place of toil and strife, It brought two souls together, and changed their life.
