All visitors are welcome with advance reservations preferred, daily (seven days a week except for Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, Christmas Eve Day through New Year's Day) from 9 am to 4 pm. If you are joining us for a tour, activity, or trail ride, the day pass is included in your tour/trail ride fee. -Youth 17 and under are free. -Museum hours - Wednesday thru Saturday 9am to 5pm (closed for lunch noon to 1pm), Sunday 1pm to 5pm; Closed on Monday and Tuesday -Thank you for your assistance and understanding. Please feel free to call Ghost Ranch if you have any questions. $10 per person day pass is a required site fee for anyone visiting the ranch. (This fee is included in Tour and Trail Ride registration prices.) This fee allows access to Ghost Ranch facilities and museums and contributes to our operating costs.
This 5,200 surface-acre reservoir offers some of the finest fishing in northern New Mexico. Reptile fossils 200 million years old have been found in the area. The area includes a fine panoramic view of the Cerro Pedernal from the dam. It is surrounded by red sandstone formations on Hwy 84 and adjacent to historical Pedernal Mountain to the south on Hwy 96.
