Accommodations
We have two hotel options for our wedding weekend. The Homewood Suites-Dover has one bedroom suites with kitchenettes and a few king studio suites with kitchenettes. If you do not see the room you prefer, please reach out to us and we can contact the hotel on your behalf. (If you are not renting a car, this is the better option, as it is across the street from the C&J Dover Bus Terminal) The second option is the Hampton Inn-Dover. These are normal hotel rooms, with King and Double Bed options. ***We will provide a complimentary shuttle, that will stop at BOTH hotels, to and from the wedding venue on the day of the wedding. *** If you would prefer to stay at another hotel, and arrange your own transportation, there are many great options in Portsmouth, NH or along the coast of Maine- (like York, Ogunquit, Wells, or Kittery- to name a few).

The closest airports for flying into the area are listed below, along with approximate driving distances and times to South Berwick (traffic can vary, especially around Boston). Most guests will want to rent a car upon arrival, as public transportation options are limited in this rural part of Maine. Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) | Boston, Massachusetts | 65-70 miles (1-1.5 hours via I-95) | Largest airport with the most flight choices. Best for guests wanting direct routes, and likely the cheaper option in most cases. Tons of rental car options at the airport. Portland International Jetport (PWM) | Portland, Maine | 38-42 miles (45-60 minutes via I-95) | Scenic drive north along the coast. Sometimes easier if you're coming from major hubs. Rent a Car in Dover @ Enterprise Rent-A-Car
If you'd like to rent a car for your visit but want to avoid driving to and from Boston Logan Airport, we have a convenient solution! Take the comfortable C&J bus directly from the airport to their Dover, NH terminal, located right across the street from our host hotel. From there, Enterprise Rent-A-Car will happily pick you up at the C&J stop (or directly from the hotel) and bring you to their nearby location to pick up your rental. This makes getting around stress-free while skipping the airport traffic. Renting a car is a great idea if you'd like to discover the charming surrounding areas—the Maine Seacoast and nearby coastal towns are absolutely beautiful with scenic drives that are best enjoyed by car. It's the perfect way to make the most of your weekend and turn your trip into a mini getaway!

The C&J bus from Boston Logan Airport drops off right across the street from our hotel block at Homewood Suites in Dover, NH—making your arrival easy and relaxing. We'll provide a complimentary shuttle service to transport you to and from the wedding venue, so you can sit back, and enjoy the weekend.

If you'd like to extend your trip and turn the wedding into a mini vacation, southern Maine's coastline is just a short drive away (15-40 minutes) and offers some of the most beautiful small-town beach vibes in New England. Here are a few nearby gems perfect for relaxing by the sea, strolling quaint villages, enjoying fresh lobster, and soaking in classic coastal charm: - York (about 15-20 minutes away): Historic lighthouses (including the iconic Nubble Light), long sandy beaches like Long Sands and Short Sands, and a charming harbor area with shops and seafood spots. - Ogunquit (about 20-25 minutes away): Known for its stunning 3-mile beach, scenic Marginal Way cliff walk, art galleries, and Perkins Cove with its picturesque drawbridge and waterfront dining. - Wells (about 25-30 minutes away): Wide, family-friendly beaches, antique shops, and a relaxed atmosphere—perfect for a low-key seaside getaway. - Kennebunkport (about 35-40 minutes away): Elegant yet cozy village with rocky shores, boutique shopping in Dock Square, beautiful beaches like Goose Rocks, and excellent restaurants.
