It all began one late night after a black box sale at Express. Little did either of them know, a random pizza drop off would spark the best chapter in their lives. Jocelyn heard about some guy named "Shea" with the killer blue eyes, but didn't expect much. But on that faithful day, the moment she locked into those beautiful blue eyes, she fell deep. Danny knew she was something special. He had seen her once, on a NYE night a few years earlier, but never said hello. Until this day, he can recall the exact outfit she wore. When he saw her again, he knew he had to talk to her. In true Danny fashion, he approached her with his music quiz. Who knew Motion City Soundtrack would bring a happily ever after? In that moment, that late January night, they both found their sole mate. The next decade and a half would be filled with many adventures, some they will definitely take to their grave, but all of them filled with laughter, exploration and a blooming love. New York City became their playground, Hawaii became their escape. In their 15 year courtship they each grew professionally, emotionally but best of all, they grew together. Two people who achieved so much independently and also supported each other endlessly. Many wondered, how long would they wait? Let's be honest, Daniel was never one to be on time for anything. Jocelyn stayed patient because she always knew, with all her heart, he was worth waiting for. Daniel always said, "A strong relationship requires a solid foundation." Well after 15 beautiful years, they can definitely say, the bones are really good and the rest doesn't matter.
