Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent in the summer of 2022 with an RSVP date of August 12th.

Question

What are the COVID guidelines and restrictions?

Answer

Out of caution and concern for our loved ones and community, we ask that all guests in attendance be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. While we do not plan to check the vaccination status of our guests, we will have to abide by the city and venue’s COVID-19 regulations, which can change over time. Please refer back to this page as the date gets closer.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a guest?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to our wonderful and VERY large group of family and friends, we do not have the room for additional guests.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all of our young friends and family members. However, we ask that no children under the age of 12 are in attendance at our wedding. There will be other activities throughout the weekend that all may attend.

Question

Do you know of a babysitter?

Answer

Yes! Luckily since the venue is local we can help arrange a babysitter with someone that we know and trust. Please reach out to either of us.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Denver can include all four seasons in one day. Typically in early September plan for 85-90 degrees during the day and 70-75degrees in the evening. The heat is very dry so bring lotion and sunscreen!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

As we are hosting an open bar, we encourage everyone to utilize either a ride share service or public transit. Very limited street parking is available around the venue. Please pay attention to all posted signs as ticketing and towing is heavily enforced.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire.

Question

What kind of music will be playing?

Answer

We have the privilege of having two of Denver's best local DJs all to ourselves for the entire night including Club Temple's resident DJ J'Adore. Don't expect your typical wedding tunes. They will be playing everything from downtempo/chill, to 90s classics, our pop favorites, and modern electronic. BRING YOUR DANCING SHOES!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The venue has two outdoor spaces and one large indoor space. The ceremony will be outside and dinner and dancing will be inside.

Question

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes, Hors d'oeuvres and dinner will be served. We will do our best to have gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options, but please let us know if you have other dietary restrictions!

Question

What's the bar situation?

Answer

We will host an open bar including a selection of wines from Bigsby's Folly's own winery, as well as beer and spirits.

Question

What's the deal with the venue?

Answer

Bigsby's Folly is a locally owned 1920's themed winery and restaurant in the River North Arts District (RiNo). Artisanal meets accessible at their full-production urban winery where they pair the tradition, authenticity and sophistication of California, Washington and Oregon’s most prestigious vineyards with the approachability of their own tasting room. Step back in time to the halcyon days of the Roaring 20's in a tasting room that combines urban-industrial style with the natural attributes of a historic location.

Question

What's the neighborhood like?

Answer

The venue and host hotel are located within Denver's historic Five Points neighborhood and specifically within the River North Arts District called RiNo. Five Points has an expansive history in the arts and entertainment industry dating back to the 19th Century. Founded as the heart of Denver's African-American community and once known as "the Harlem of the West," Five Points was the epicenter of jazz music and art into the 20th century in the mountain west. Today remnants of its past are still present throughout this large neighborhood. RiNo is now defined by its sprawling masses of refurbished warehouses and old industrial buildings which have been converted into art studios, music studios, cafes, shops, and condos. As well as new mixed-use apartment and office buildings and is the epicenter of growth in the region. Street art can be spotted all over the various buildings and in alleyways. We hope everyone gets to enjoy this eclectic neighborhood.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We are working to confirm a host hotel. More will be announced shortly. We suggest you search AirBnB and VRBO for competitive rates as well. We encourage everyone to stay in RiNo if possible in order to enjoy everything the district has to offer during your visit.
