We are so excited to finally celebrate safely with everyone!

Daniel lived on the same floor as some of Ian's hometown friends. When we first laid eyes on each other in Maple Hall we knew that we would be together. Love at first sight and all other sights to come. After several months of getting to know each other, Ian got impatient and finally asked Dan to be his boyfriend on February 11th, 2015, three days before Valentine's Day.

Ian first proposed to Dan during a trip to Washington D.C. Ian carried the ring around in his wallet waiting for the right time. After a fancy dinner, where we were under dressed (but thankfully not as much as some), we took scooters out to the Potomac and sat under a cherry blossom in view of the Washington and Jefferson Monuments. When Ian popped the question, Dan was speechless before finally saying "yes!" once the ring slipped on his finger! May 3rd, 2019 Dan was the next to propose! On a trip to Leavenworth, WA, Dan and Ian stopped by the river where they had enjoyed the view every visit. Dan starts claiming that there is a bear at the other side of the river before sneaking down on one knee behind Ian. It was when Ian turned around to call Dan a liar that Dan popped the question back! Now with a ring on each hand we proclaimed our love to the world. February 11th, 2020
