We were introduced to each other by Shannon in the spring of 2017. After hanging out in group settings a few times we decided to go on our first date. We went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 at Movies 14. Danny really wanted to see it and I wanted to seem cool, even though I had never seen a Marvel movie before that. I have now seen all Marvel movies .. in order .. almost twice through.

As I was driving home from work like any other Friday, Danny called to see where I was and when I would be home. He told me just to park behind his truck when I got home which I didn’t think anything of at the time. I got home, walked to the back gate (all of my work bags in hand) and was shocked to see Danny and the boys all waiting for me. I knew at that moment what was happening, but I was still so shocked I’m not sure I was even able to read the pup’s “Will you Marry my Dad” bandanas. The dogs were excited to welcome me home, and after they greeted me they ran off to play. That is when Danny got down on one knee! We had an amazing dinner at Ruth Chris, and then celebrated with family and friends at our favorite place, The Red Mill. It was the best day!
