We met in 2021 at a crawfish boil, which is absolutely fitting for the Louisiana girl. That was the first of many times to hangout and get to know each other over some good food. Over time, we became the best of friends and pretty much inseparable but didn't fall in love until 2022. It all started when we refinished a coffee table... After a year of friendship and a long day of painting, Halle confessed that she couldn't imagine a world where we weren't together, and the rest is history!

At a Russell Dickerson concert, during a little love song called 'Yours' Daniel got down on one knee and finally asked me to marry him. It was like a movie scene, with everyone clapping and causing a commotion - Russell stopped the show. He congratulated us and took the time to start the song over and give us our first dance as an engaged couple. It was the most magical moment and the perfect start to the rest of our lives.
