Gloria strikes up a conversation with Daniel on Facebook messenger, while the pandemic still rages on in August of 2021. She convinces Daniel that she is not a scam-bot out to steal his SSN. They chat together obsessively for 3 months, then agree to meet in real life at the Emerald Bay Resort in Mazatlan, Sinaloa Mexico. Sparks fly, they become boyfriend/girlfriend under the light of the Beaver Moon and embark upon a mission to one day live together, happily ever after. The next 2.5 years are a whirlwind of trips; sometimes Daniel flies to Mexico, sometimes Gloria & her daughter Rebecca fly to USA. We filed papers for a "90-day fiance," which they don't warn you takes several years before you get to the "90 days." In March of 2024 we are finally summoned to the Jaurez Consulate for immigration interviews. All goes well, K-1 Visa approved. Gloria and Rebecca take a one-way flight to USA in April of 2024, and we begin living our dream life together.
