We’re Getting Married

This is a funny story. I actually sent her a DM on instagram, and it actually took her about a year to reply back to my message "talk about being patient." She eventually responded back and i was surprised but excited when i saw her message. After that we decided to meet in person, and the rest is history.

It was on her dad's birthday, spoke to her parents a week prior to let them know I will be proposing on that day, I actually didn't realize the day I chose was actually her dad's birthday. I went over to her parent's home after church, the rest of the family were invited thinking they came to celebrate dad's birthday and I also acted like I was there just for the birthday celebration. She went to the door, turned around and I was on one knee, she said "YES," and we were engaged.
