The hotel offers a shuttle which if your comfortable with is a good choice, but there are is also an extremely safe and cheaper method which would be through cabs. Daniel and I have always taken the cabs in Puerto Vallarta and have never had any issues. Once you arrive at the airport, grab your luggage, and go through customs you will continue on to the corridor until you reach the exit (note" if your not interested in buying a timeshare continue walking out the corridor, timeshare assistants will be right before you exit the whole airport and they offer free shuttles and free rides just to get you into a "meeting" in which they will then proceed to try and sell you a timeshare). The cab service is on the right hand side of the main exit, you will let them know where you are going and they tell you a SET price and you will pay before you leave the airport. Its about 50% cheaper than a shuttle and just as easy :)
The only events we have planned are the rehearsal/toast and the wedding, after the toast on Thursday night we plan on going downtown for a last hoorah, at some local spots which we love to swing by every time we are in town. We wanted everyone to enjoy their stay and not feel obligated or forced to join us in any plans we made, your in Puerto Vallarta!! Enjoy, Relax and Explore freely!!!
