Where is your wedding registry?

Are there assigned tables for the reception?

Answer

Only for the head tables which are reserved for the wedding party.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Suits, button-downs and slacks, maxi dresses, jumpsuits, cocktail dresses are all great! We would recommend not wearing stilettos as much of the evening will be outside. Everyone is more than welcome to wear anything celestial to match the theme. Just please don't wear all gold or jeans!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

At the moment (and this will be updated daily) there is a low of 67 degrees and a high of 88 degrees. Partly cloudy. Likely humid.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be outdoors but with overhead coverage.

Does the wedding have a theme?

Answer

Yes, but it's not a theme guests are required to adhere to. The theme is celestial. You can participate if you would like!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5:30 pm. Please arrive before 5:30 pm! An event bus will transport guests from the 21c Hotel. The buses will leave at 4:00pm SHARP from the hotel.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, at the 21c Museum Hotel in downtown Kansas City. More information can be found in the travel tab.

Will there be dinner at the reception?

Answer

Yes. The reception will be catered by Jack Stack Barbecue. There will be gluten free and vegetarian options. Make sure to fill out the questionnaire on the schedule page to inform us of dietary restrictions.

Where should I send the registry gifts?

Answer

Gifts should be mailed to our home address (this can be found in the registry tab and is automatically assigned as the shipping address.) We request that guests not bring gifts to the wedding. It will be difficult to transport them.

Can guests take photos?

Answer

There will be a photographer during the event. There will be absolutely no outside photography during the ceremony. The professional photographs will be uploaded to the photography tab a few weeks after the wedding. You can take photos during the reception.

Can I get an uber/lyft to the event?

Answer

Yes, but you MUST request it in advance. The wedding is well outside of the city and you won’t get one if you wait until the time you need it.

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

Yes, but it must be picked up by 10:00am the next day or the venue will have it towed.
