We are so excited to celebrate with you!

Daniel and Gabriela met on Thursday April 23, 2015 at a chocolate shop where Gabriela was working at the time. Daniel was working a couple blocks down at a skate shop and had come in for some chocolate on his break. When Daniel came into the shop, they both immediately felt as though they were the only two people there. Daniel asked for a chocolate covered graham cracker and Gabriela said jokingly, "No, we don't sell those", even though they were clearly in the window. Daniel eventually got the graham cracker and left to get back to work. On his way back, Daniel had a feeling that he needed to go back and felt as though this was a moment that could change his life. As Daniel was headed back to work, a homeless man had come up to him to talk to him about his past experiences and Daniel had told him that he had to leave to because he was trying to meet someone. Back at the chocolate shop, Gabriela was upset that she hadn't done anything when he was at the shop. As she was thinking about Daniel, Gabriela looked up and he had returned. They were both very nervous, excited, and full of butterflies. Daniel had come up to counter and asked if he could take Gabriela out sometime. Gabriela wrote down her full name and number, which he took with him on his way out. On his way back to work, Daniel had seen the homeless man that had talked to him earlier and he held up the paper with Gabriela's name and number on it, and waved it around like a golden ticket, yelling "I got it!" Daniel sent Gabriela a text right away telling her to save this number. From then on, Daniel and Gabriela spent as much time as they could together.
