Visa Requirement
Indonesia offers a free-visa for 30 days or Visa On Arrival (VOA) for a lot of countries. However, the passport holder of several countries is not allowed to have this exemption except with an invitation letter. If you need an invitation letter for the visa application, kindly contact us.

Food, Shopping, and Travel
Food and stuffs in Salatiga are relatively cheap (compare to the big cities in Indonesia). Average amount of money spent on food for a day will be around 50 CNY, but of course it will depend on where you go. ;) For your domestic transportation, you can take the public cars (called: angkot) for around 2 CNY. Or you can also rent a motorbike for around 30-50 CNY per day. For convenience, you can also rent a car for yourself which will cost around 100-200 CNY per day. Currency rate: CNY (Chinese Yuan) to IDR (Indonesian Rupiahs) : 1 CNY = 2,100 IDR USD (US Dollars) to IDR (Indonesian Rupiahs) : 1 USD = 14,000 IDR *this currency will vary, check online for the fluctuating changes!

Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK)
Indonesia has a lot of ports of entry, but for the sake of convenience, we advise you to come through the capital: Jakarta. There are TWO AIRPORTS in Jakarta, make sure you double check your ticket and the airport name! (Airport code: CGK) To reach Salatiga, here are few options we recommend for you: 1. Take the flight to Semarang: Ahmad Yani International Airport (SRG). If you choose this option, read the next sections for the guide once you reach Semarang. Domestic airplane ticket costs: 200 CNY to 500 CNY (prices may vary). 2. If you are coming in group, we can help you arrange a 10-12 seats car that will take you from Jakarta to Salatiga for 6-7 hours trip. It might sounds like a long trip, but will be so much fun when you are traveling in group! One trip with the 12 seats car will cost you 1600 CNY (you can divide it with the group member). Just contact us, and we will help you get the car ready!
Flight
Ahmad Yani International Airport (SRG)
Ahmad Yani International Airport (Airport code: SRG) is the closest airport to Salatiga. To reach Salatiga, you can: 1. Take a taxi / rent a car for a 50 minutes ride. It will cost you around 150 CNY to 200 CNY (prices might vary). If you need us to arrange a rent car for you, kindly let us know. 2. Take buses from Semarang-Salatiga. It is also approximately 50 minutes ride. Bus tickets price: 15 CNY to 50 CNY (depend on the bus and class).
