We're Getting Married!

We met online on Match.com. Our first date started at a coffee shop, but we were having a good time, so we decided to keep it going with a round of miniature golf. That is where Daniel proposed a wager: if he won, Erin had to kiss him. If he lost... well, he would have to kiss Erin. (It was a total win-win strategy for Daniel). Erin lost the round, so she had to pay up. The rest of the date was great. We just got along really well and knew we wanted to see each other again.

Over the years, we have built a life around the things we love most: good food, good wine, and great competition. You can usually find us hunting down a new favorite restaurant, spending time with our families, or watching sports. We’ve also become a bit of a poker power couple. We love playing and watching the game together. We are perfect travel partners (even if we don't travel quite as much as we’d like!), but honestly, we’re just as happy hanging out at home. As we like to joke, the secret to our relationship is that we can actually stand each other!

Italy has always been our dream destination. During a trip to Lecco, we were staying at a hotel with the most incredible scenery we had ever seen. Daniel told Erin he wanted to film a vlog update of the trip on the balcony to capture the view. With the camera rolling and the stunning Italian landscape in the background, Daniel surprised Erin by getting down on one knee. It was a quiet, private moment in the most beautiful place on earth.
