Mitchell Wedding

Daniel and I had passed each other throughout the years because we went to the same church and our parents were friends. We both have discussed the crushes we had on each other during that time but never reached out thinking neither would have a chance. We got in touch in May 2020 and had our first date on the 21st. Daniel and I rode around that night after dinner talking for hours, never wanting the night to end. He and I both knew then that this was the start of something special. We started our relationship on August 13th, 2020, and have not stopped loving each other ever since. On December 31st, 2023, Daniel asked if I wanted to go fishing after church (nothing out of the ordinary), we rode to Bassett, VA to fish on the Smith River. While rigging up the fly rods, Daniel asked if I would like to choose my fly. I turned around to an open fly box with an engagement ring placed perfectly and my sweet Daniel grinning ear to ear. That was the easiest "yes" I have ever said. We are so excited to start this journey in our lives together as one and are so excited for you to be a part of our special day!
