FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by November 30th to let us know if you will be attending the ceremony and/or reception.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Please park in the parking lot behind St. James Episcopal Church. The reception is just two blocks away, so you can leave your car there- parking can be tricky in other parts of the square. There is no fee for parking.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive a little early for the ceremony as we will start promptly at 3.

Question

Will it be a religious ceremony?

Answer

Yes. Our wedding will be a religious ceremony with prayers, scripture reading and communion. For communion, you will be invited to come to the altar to partake. This is totally optional. If you are not comfortable with communion, you will simply stay at your seat when your row is ushered to come forward.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress in cocktail or formal attire. Think long dress for the ladies or suits for the guys. It will be December in Georgia, so dress according to the weather too! The bridal party will be wearing tuxes and burgundy colors- feel free to join the color palette. The reception is about a two block walk, so keep that in mind with your shoe choices!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you RSVP, you and any additions should be there. If someone is missing, please let us know so we can have an accurate count of who is coming.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course! Any children should be on your RSVP. If we missed anyone, please reach out and let us know.
