Wedding Party

Jessica

Maid of Honor

Jess is Emily’s oldest sister by nearly 14 years, a fact that was thrown into stark relief while planning the bachelorette party to Nashville (“You want me to wear what?!?” “Will there be time for naps?”). Despite their age difference, Jess has always been close with the Ciaramella’s little “oops” baby. Some of her fondest memories include scarring Emily for life with a visit to her freshman dorm (every four-year-old’s dream), fulfilling the entirely unnecessary and unwelcomed role of pseudo parent during Emily’s high school years (“You’re wearing what?!?”), and earning a nursing degree by proxy serving as Emily’s collegiate proofreader for every single paper. Jess has also known Dan long enough to remember when he was scared of her, a fear he may still be overcoming, and she could not be happier to have a tall red head introduced into her family’s diminutive Italian gene pool. She wishes the couple a lifetime of happiness and looks forward to torturing them with summer camp photos for years to come.

Valerie

Matron of Honor

Valerie Fernandes is the elder sister of the bride, and the bride's personal partner in crime for last minute ice cream adventures. With 9 years and 55 minutes between them, Valerie and Emily spent their early years fighting over who reigns supreme over the September birthdays. Throwing Dan into the mix made September of 2017 a month to remember when the three celebrated their 21st, 21st, and 30th birthday bashes together! Valerie has spent the last 26 years of her life trying to impart her sisterly influence on Emily, with her only successful ventures appearing to be a love for science, dance, and Linkin Park. Emily, however, has been a profound influence on Valerie's sense of style, which makes Emily one of Valerie's favorite shopping and nail grooming cohorts. Valerie is overjoyed to finally add Dan (officially) to the family, so the two can continue to annoy Emily with their Harry Potter and/or MCU fandom discussions...forever!

Lauren

Bridesmaid

Hi! I’m Emily’s best cuz, Lauren. Not everyone gets to say that they love hanging out with their cousin, but I do. From playing cards at Grandma’s, to relaxing on the beach at Topsail, to traveling through Ireland, Emily has always been more of a sister to me. She is always game for adventure and is finally a cat lover like me. Dan is already a part of the family and I am so excited to stand by Emily and Dan’s side as they make it official!

Kathryn

Bridesmaid

Hi I’m Katie, Dan’s little sister! A little bit about me is that I currently live in Orlando, Florida and work for the Walt Disney World Resort as a full time photographer! I’m so excited for Dan and Emily and I’m so grateful to be a part of their newest adventure!♥️

Gabriella

Bridesmaid

4 years in the same class as both Emily and Dan and we never really talked to each other. March of senior year, I saw that Emily posted on the DeSales University Class of 2019 page. The next day I saw her at school in the locker banks and ask her if she was going to DeSales. Giving me her best “Emily look”, she said she didn’t know and walked away. What she really didn’t know is that she’d be stuck with me for the rest of her life! Over the past 7 years, I’ve watched Emily and Dan become the couple they are today. Their love is like no other! I couldn’t be happier to be a part of their special day, and continue to watch their love grow!

Morgan

Bridesmaid

Well Em, Gabby and I all went to DeSales University together. Em and Gabby were a year ahead of me and their senior year, needed roommates. I was astonished when Emily asked me to be her roommate due to the fact that she was “way cooler” then me. Well little did I know what I was getting myself into. That year was filled with so many amazing memories from movie nights, hitting the gym, and of course our drinking adventures. Em has also taught me a lot both within that year like how to properly dress for a night out to how to cook a variety of easy almost microwave meals. One thing Em did teach me is that love has no limits. Her and Dan have been together their whole lives and I can’t wait to see where their love takes them.

Victoria

Bridesmaid

Hi! I’m Victoria, some of you may know me as Icky Vicky (thanks, Emily) or Luca’s Future Doctor! Emily and I met in 1st grade; Emily was wearing army print pants and I was TERRIFIED she was going to beat me up because I was wearing a pink frilly dress. Thankfully that didn’t happen, and we have each been a fundamental part of each others lives for the past 18 years! It seems like yesterday we were sitting in some history class at Neshaminy and Emily told me about this guy Dan she had a crush on. Before our friend group knew it, Dan became an integral part of some of my favorite memories from high school. The pool parties, bunker hill adventures, and late nights playing Mario Kart and Sims are such special memories to me because not only did we get to grow up together, I was able to witness Emily and Dan’s relationship blossom from its start.

Jenny

Bridesmaid

I became friends and later best friends with Emily around the end of middle school and couldn't be more excited for her and Dan as they take this next step of their relationship together... I still remember Emily planning her wedding to Dan when we'd play the Sims! She's been waiting, Dan! Love you guys!

Patrick

Best Man

I’ve know Dan since the day he was born. From playing sports as kids, to trips to Sea Isle City and Florida, and everything in between, all of the memories and experiences we’ve shared have been so much fun! Ever since Dan first started dating Emily, I could tell these two made a great pair! I’m so excited to be a part of this special day, and to celebrate with them!

Brian

Groomsman

Hi, I'm Brian, one of Dan's many friends from college! I've had the pleasure of calling Dan a good friend for the past eight years. My favorite memory with Dan is when we were in the same Business Policy group at SJU. Many late-night laughs working on the project and many champagne bottles popped in celebration. Fastenal forever. For as long as I've known him, Emily has been his constant rock and the person that brought him the most joy in life. She even converted him to a wine guy - who would've thought! Here's to Lentz-a-palooza meeting Ciaramella-palooza in April of 2023.

Brendan

Groomsman

Brendan here. I first met Dan through a bunch of these other people as our housemate. We quickly became fast friends. The first time we ever spent a lot of time one on one was Dan’s 21st birthday. As the only other person of age I took him out for a beer on a Wednesday night. He had a test the next day so we planned to take it easy. Here’s a picture of us after the 6th beer. One of the topics that came up that night was how much he loved his girlfriend, Emily, and his plan to marry her someday. Some plans are more important to keep than others! I’m thrilled for the beautiful couple and honored to be a small part of their special day.

Jonathan

Groomsman

I first met Dan 8 years ago at St. Joes University during our first semester. We eventually became housemates at St. Joes and through countless memories of going out in Philly/Manayunk, playing too many games of Mario kart and celebrating the Eagles Super Bowl with half of Philadelphia, we became great friends! I can’t wait to be his groomsman and celebrate his and Emily’s wedding!

Richard

Groomsman

Hi everyone! My name’s Richard and I met Dan during our time at Saint Joseph’s University. Dan and I became close friends over several competitive games of Mario Kart, watching Man United games, playing pick-up soccer and living on 63rd Street. I’m extremely excited to celebrate Dan and Emily moving into this next chapter of their relationship!

Robert

Groomsman

I met Dan our sophomore year of college while looking for another roommate- little did I know 6 years later I'd be in his wedding! Watching Dan and Emily visit each other all the time throughout college- you could tell there was something special there. I greatly admired their commitment to each other then and am honored to be a part of their commitment to each other now. Whether we're talking about soccer (which we do A LOT) or just hanging out, Dan has become a great friend of mine and I'm so happy to see him and Emily take the next step together. Congratulations to the both of you!

Jack

Groomsman

Hi, I’m Jack and am a teacher in North Philadelphia. I’m one of Dan’s roommates from Saint Joe’s and his Mario kart partner of the house. I’ve known Dan as a caring man with a great sense of humor and as someone everyone wants to be around. I’ve gotten to know Emily’s fun energy and witness her wonderful relationship with Dan from the times she would visit during college. I’m honored to be a part of their next chapter and to see what the bright future beholds!
