We're Getting Married!

Emershae and Dan first met at their friend Eliza's birthday brunch, where they happened to be seated next to each other. At first, Emershae thought it might be one of those awkward mornings making small talk - but instead, it was easy, fun and natural conversation. Although Emershae wasn't looking for anything at the time, she did have a feeling that Dan might ask for her number, and was a little surprised when he didn't. A week later, Emershae caught up with Eliza, who told her that Dan had spent the next two days at work asking about her (which Dan only found out - much to his horror - on their second date). A few months later, their paths crossed again when Dan came to Hillsong Church. They became great friends and, over the next eight months, there were many small, God-orchestrated moments that brought them together so naturally. After 11 months of dating, on the last day of their trip to New Zealand for their friends Sarah and Isaiah's wedding, Dan proposed on a beautiful beach in Queenstown. Now, we can't wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you!
