For both men and women we ask for you dress to the specific theme of specified nights Rehearsal Dinner: Italian Garden Party Wedding Day: Black Tie Formal; wear black floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes or black suits with black neckties or bowties. If you are unsure of what exactly this means we have provided a vision board for each days event for both men and women in the gallery.
Temperatures really start to heat up and it's a very pleasant time to explore with highs of 70° and lows of 55°. Daylight hours are around 15 hours, meaning you can comfortably stay out by the pool in the evening with a glass of wine. May does experience an increased rainfall though - so come prepared just in case.
This will be an outdoor ceremony and reception, please bring a sweater or jacket to keep warm.
We are excited to share our love for Italian foods with everyone. We have dedicated four special meals outlined on the schedule to do this. We will keep the villa stocked with our favorites snacks and encourage everyone to explore the nearby markets.
We will provide food for breakfast, most lunches and dinners will be at your own leisure unless outlined in the schedule. For alcohol we will be stocking the bar if you have specific preferences please let us know.
Everyone is coupled together to share a room. Only a few bathrooms have en-suite bathrooms. For nine rooms there are seven bathrooms so some people may have to share.
The vacation villa is located on a quiet residential hill next to the town of Pallanza Verbania, only 1 km away from the charming center with its shops, cafes and restaurants. Stroll along the lakeside promenade or hop on a ferry to explore the delights of Lake Maggiore including the Borromeo Islands, the town of Stresa, the monastery of Santa Caterina del Sasso, the Angera castle and you can even go all the way to Switzerland. The villa is located upon a hill at 1 km from the town, it is possible to walk but the way back is uphill so a car is recommended.
Yes, we suggest that you do bring your own shampoos, conditioners, and body wash as everyone has their own preferences of what they like to use!
We suggest that you do work out your own way to get to the villa. We are more than willing to help figure out ways for everyone to carpool, but we do not want to rely solely on that. On Tuesday it will be a free day for everyone to adventure if you are choosing to go off on your own it could be helpful to have a car or there is public transportation available.
We have a found a tuxedo rental place that will allow for us to pick it up before the wedding. If you are interested in this, Dan will be picking up his tux and we can arrange to pick all at once. In order to do so, you will need to go to a suit place and get measurements for a tuxedo and update us with your measurements.
There is a pool on the property but it will have just been open for us. It may be a little chilly but we can always be optimistic!

There is no air conditioning but fans are available.
