FAQs

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be outdoors. Keep in mind that late June in the Bahamas averages 85 degrees (:

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are requesting that guests dress semi-formal for our event. Examples for men would be dress shorts or pants with a collared button up shirt; women would be sundresses or midi cocktail dresses.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes!

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

Rather than a formal plated meal, we’ll be hosting a lively station-style reception! Guests will be invited to explore and enjoy a variety of chef-attended stations throughout the evening. Offerings will include a fresh raw bar, a carving station, and other delicious selections to mix and match at your leisure. There will also be continuous hors d'oeuvres available throughout the evening. We love the idea of creating a relaxed, social atmosphere where everyone can choose what they’re in the mood for and go back for their favorites. Come hungry and ready to indulge!

Question

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes! We plan to have separate meal options for guests with allergies or other dietary restrictions.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Unless you intend to make the bride very angry, we kindly ask guests to unplug and be fully present during the ceremony. Feel free to snap photos during the reception!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone the opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy a fun evening with us. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together! 💛
