We're getting married!

There is a running joke with Daniel and Deanna's friends. When they would go camping Daniel would ask Deanna to make him a sandwich and their friends would tell him he needed to put a ring on it first. On Christmas morning Daniel handed Deanna a little black box. Deanna opened it and, to her surpise, there was a ring! Daniel then asked Deanna "will you make me a sandwich?" Although it didn't quite occur to Deanna that Daniel was asking her to marry him (she was definitely in shock), once she realized that's what he meant she, of course, said YES!
