Hawaii, here we come!

We had just been given a second chance at life and then we met and everything finally fell into place. Our sobriety brought us together and has kept us together to this day. Similarities in our past has made our bond stronger than most others and our trust and understanding in each other is unparalleled. Our lives have purpose now and we can take on the world together!

After dating for four years we both knew we would be married one day. I think he was waiting for the perfect time and the perfect way and then he realized that everything was already perfect so he popped the question on New Years! He got me to get out of the house that morning and when I came back there were rose petals in the driveway and the garage. Then when I opened the door there was music playing and rose petals trailing to where he was and six vases filled with dozens of roses. At the time we had two dogs and one was wearing a shirt saying "Will you" and the other in a shirt saying "Marry Me" and I started sobbing. He came from around the corner and knelt on a knee and we were engaged!
