Daniel and Claire’s story started on one cool night in January 2023….on Hinge that is. That night they matched and by the end of the next night they were on the phone for hours. Around a month of talking in they decided to go on their first date. Daniel and Claire on their first date shot guns, ate lunch, and then watched the movie Flushed Away and talked for hours(and Mama Lisa made hot cocoa). From that moment on they were officially a couple and in the beginning they had to be long distance due to Daniel’s college being 4 hours away. Even with the distance their communication never faltered and they continued to, not slowly but quite rapidly, fall in love. Each making the drive to see the other, even Claire surprising Daniel a day early for his college graduation. Shortly after they went on their first vacation together in Destin and had the time of their lives. As the months progressed it became clear to the both of them that they couldn’t imagine life without the other. In mid October Daniel found himself in the same jewelry store that 40 years before his future father-in-law bought his future mother-in-law’s engagement ring. Then on November 30, 2023, Daniel got on one knee and proposed to Claire which she happily accepted(in sweatpants)!
