What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

In mid-March, Cusseta, Alabama, experiences mild to warm spring weather with high temperatures typically in the low-to-mid 60s°F and lows in the upper 30s to mid-40s°

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The party is moving indoors! We’ll be celebrating inside the [Brumfield Family Farm], which offers a cozy, rustic atmosphere with all the comforts of an indoor space.

Am I invited to the ceremony?

Answer

We have decided to keep our ceremony private and intimate. While the exchange of vows will be held for immediate family only, we cannot wait to celebrate with everyone afterward at the reception! We look forward to seeing you there for dinner, drinks, and dancing.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The party kicks off with cocktail hour at 6:00 PM ET! While the wedding party and family finish up photos, please feel free to arrive on time, grab a drink, and settle in. We can’t wait to see you!

Where should I park?

Answer

Once you arrive at the property, please follow the signs to our designated parking area. We kindly ask that you do not park directly in front of the barn, as that area will be roped off for the festivities.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! We love your little ones and can’t wait to celebrate with the whole family. Just a heads-up for the parents: we'll have an open bar and a lively dance floor, so things might get a little rowdy as the night goes on. Feel free to bring the kids, but use your best judgment regarding the evening’s festivities!

Will there be food and drinks during the cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes! We want to get the celebration started right. While we are happy to provide an open bar for our guests, please note that our bartenders do accept (and greatly appreciate!) tips for their hard work. To keep you fueled until dinner, a variety of snacks will also be available to nibble on while you mingle.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are so incredibly thankful to have you join us for this celebration of our love—your presence is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. While gifts are certainly not expected, for those who have expressed an interest, we have registered for a few items to help feather our newlywed nest. However, as we prepare to start our lives together, we are especially prioritizing creating lifelong memories and would deeply appreciate any donations toward our Honeymoon Fund. Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

Answer

Please know that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! Since you are traveling a long distance to celebrate with us, we consider your trip to be more than enough. Physical gifts are absolutely not expected or necessary. However, for those who have expressed an interest in giving: Registry: If you choose to browse our wedding registry, we kindly ask that items be shipped directly to our home address to avoid any luggage mishaps during travel. Honeymoon Fund: We will also have a place at the reception for cards or contributions toward our honeymoon fund as we start our new life together.
