Shenandoah is a national park. A $30 Entrance Pass is required per vehicle (passengers do not need their own pass). It is valid for seven days after first use. You can purchase the parking pass at nps.gov/shen/planyourvisit/fees or at the entrance station. Please note that October is the start of peak foliage season, so there may be more traffic than usual when trying to enter the park.
The closest park entrance to the venue is Thornton Gap.
